Ahh denim. Some seasons denim apparel is so in and others its a true no go.
But this spring, little fibbers, it’s a go! Denim shirts, camies, and rompers are being showcased throughout numerous spring lines right now, and are awaiting you to snatch them up. One thing you might ask yourself is how exactly do you piece together an outfit so that your denim item is the star? And where can you find cute denim pieces that aren’t insanely priced? Today, I will let you in on my secrets for the denim chambray shirt.
**Loose fitting denim/chambray shirts– I love these because they can be worn so many ways. My favorite is when they’re worn a bit oversized and unbuttoned, almost if you threw it on as a cardigan. Pair over a tight tank or casual oversized tee shirt. Khakis in a skinny or boyfriend cut rolled at the ankles neutralize the look and establish a shabby chic feel. Brightly colored/patterned shorts bring pop of color when it’s warmer. Toss on a braided skinny belt in a neutral or pastel shade with some awesome wedges, wrist candy and you’re good to go! Feeling ultra casual? Pair the denim shirt with black or patterned leggings and a cute pair of flats (great hangover outfit for you college ladies–comfy and cute!)
